Solid waste includes residue from agriculture, forestry and livestock. Residues from agriculture include bagasse, grape waste, nut shells, straw and stubble. Forestry residues include harvest residue from plantations and sawmills. Livestock residues include manure from dairy, piggery, poultry and feedlots and meat processing waste.
Liquid waste includes sewage and wastewater from industrial processes such as food and agricultural processing as well as effluent from dairy and piggery farms.
Mixed waste includes residuals from residential, industrial, commercial & institutional, construction & demolition municipal services.
